The Hill Library is a community place for Strafford Residents.
The mission of the Hill Library is to grow and develop with the Strafford community to meet the people’s cultural, educational, recreational and informational needs in a welcoming setting that supports lifelong learning. The library maintains several roles: a community access point for information and knowledge, a children’s door to learning, a popular culture center and meeting place.

WEATHER ADVISORY
In case of bad weather, please call the library to verify we that we are open. If closed because of bad weather any items that are due on that day will be automatically due the next open day.
LOCAL ART EXHIBIT ON DISPLAY
Betti Williams, an artist speciallizing in watercolors, oils and house portraits will be displaying her art work in the library during the month of February. Come in and see her realistic paintings and learn more about the artist herself.

PRESCHOOL STORY TIME
Story time for February 2nd (Groundhog Day)and the 16th at 2:00 PM.
BASIC VIDEO WORKSHOP
On February 15th at 6:00 PM, Indra Edmonds will present the basics of video production that includes scripting, shooting, and editing. No equipment is necessary.
February 11th at 7 PM is "Power Rangers"
Februray 25th at 7 PM is "Happy feet 2", rated "PG". An unexplained seismic event causes a glacier to shift trapping the penquins.
TRUSTEE MEETING
Trustee meeting is February 6th at 5:00pm. Trustee meetings will be on the first Monday of the month instead of the last and are open to all.
BOOK CLUB
Meets February 23rd at 6:30 to discuss "Salmon Fishing in Yemen" by Paul Torday.
"What does it take to make us believe in the impossible?" Dr. Jones existence is upended and he must spend his time in pursuit of another man's ludicrous dream.
GAME NIGHTS
On February 21th and February 28th, once again the library is having game night that is open to all. So bring a friend and have some fun and friendly competition. Bringing a game as well as a buddy is okay. Scrabble! Chess! Cribbage! What's your forte?!
CPR AND FIRST AID CLASS
On March 10th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the library will be having a class in first aid and CPR. The cost is $50.00 a person and to register please come into the library and sign up.
